    Google has a point, but...

    It sounds like a bit of a dodgy advertising technique, but I recently bought a Dell PC which had some of Google's tools already installed. I think google pays for this to happen.

    It sounds like a very similar situation to me.

    I suppose the difference is that you can remove the tools if you want, but you have to upgrade your service to remove the Rogers advertising.

    Rogers Hijacked My Search Defaults

    I just tried a search from the address bar of Internet Explorer 7 and instead of my default search provider, I am hijacked by Rogers to Rogers Yahoo! Search - help!
