    Wikia search engine challenges

Once the human edited Wikia gets a big user base, they will face commercial and ethical dilemmas.

One major commercial dilemma: A number 1 position in a big search engine for searches like and quot;holidays and quot;, and quot;mortgages and quot; or and quot;property and quot;, is worth millions, say no more ...

An ethical dilemma: Expecting people to contribute to Wikia search for free (or a small fee) sounds like capitalism dressed up as socialism, with Jimmy Wales, Bessemer Venture Partners, Pierre Omidyar and others standing in line to make multiple millions.
