 –   Bigmouth Media
On 18 Feb 2006 we saw bigmouthmedia removed from the Google index, only to be re-indexed 3 days later (Tuesday 21 Feb) +- 10PM (GMT). Very resourceful to say the least!

What would you do if this happened to your company?
If you have a big brand like BMM or BMW, don’t panic, your site should gain major publicity and lots of those all important one way, direct links. This link (BMW’s 1 year Alexa traffic rank) demonstrates how BMW’s traffic rank spiked and remained higher, ever since they were deleted and reindexed.

But what if you have a smaller company?

Our advice is that you form close ties with your Google Adwords account manager, if you don’t have one, develop a good relationship with one of the top 10 SEO’s mentioned on the SEO review page.

The merger of bigmouthmedia and Global Media has been hailed as a "landmark" move that will allow the combined firm to be a pioneer in Internet marketing.

Bigmouth, which was recently named by Deloitte as Scotland's fastest growing technology company, struck a deal with German search firm Global Media to create a company worth £150 million.

The merger was set up by The Carlyle Group, one of the largest private equity firms in the world, and will mean that Bigmouth will now employ more than 100 people across offices in London, Edinburgh, Manchester and New York.

"The merger with bigmouthmedia is a landmark move for the two companies," said Nazo Moosa of The Carlyle Group. "We believe together they will help to lead the way in the rapidly growing Internet advertising market place."

Internet advertising is set for huge increase in growth next year, with countless surveys detailing the importance being placed on the medium by big name advertisers. Most recently, research from ZenithOptimedia suggested that online ad spend around the world would grow by 28.2 per cent next year.
